As part of the 'Great Egyptian Bake Off' for our Design and Technology unit, the children in Year Three have had a fantastic time creating their own Egyptian style bread.
After tasting a range of toppings and carefully selecting a suitable addition to their bread, the children got messy creating their masterpieces. They then measured out the ingredients and kneaded the mixture until it made a less sticky ball - it took a while!
Finally, the children enjoyed adding a pattern to their finished bread before placing it into the oven.
All the children went home with a nice, warm roll to enjoy!
