This week is British Science Week 2021. The children have been taking part in some fantastic Science activities.
EYFS and Year 1 have been studying plants and growing beans. Year 2 have been looking at ways to look after our chickens. Year 3 have been involved in a magnet study. And Year 4 have been bringing their electricity topic to life! Year 5 have been consolidating their learning on climate change, in particular the effects of ocean plastic waste and Year 6 have been studying inherited traits in human development.
Thank you to those who work in STEM areas that have sent in their 'one minute' videos. These have been very useful to look at the range of jobs available in STEM and to encourage children to consider a career in STEM when they are older
